DESCRIPTION:The Arab Spring of 2011 opened up a new stage in the world rev
olution. Today\, however\, the predominant feature is instability througho
ut the region. Recently\, we have seen the rise of the Islamic State\, civ
il war in Syria\, and the Israeli attack on Gaza\, which left 2000 dead. E
vents today are the proof of Rosa Luxembourg’s prognosis: “Socialism o
r Barbarism”. We ask - what is the role of imperialism? What is the role
of political Islam? How can socialism solve the problems of the people of
  the Middle East?
