DESCRIPTION:Thinking ahead is key to winning chess games. How do chess mas
 ters manage to calculate efficiently and why are they always several steps
  ahead of your average player? This talk will demonstrate the methodical a
 pproach which chess masters use to search for the best move\, including te
 chniques which allow for calculating more than 10 moves ahead. There will 
 also be exploration into how human calculation compares with the raw proce
 ssing power of computers. No previous chess background required.\n\nThe ta
