DESCRIPTION:The high-end networking that makes the Internet has historical
 ly depended on extremely exotic and expensive custom hardware. \n\nBut tha
 t is starting to change\, and pure software-based networking is starting t
 o become a meaningful part of both the Internet and massive data centers\,
  opening up these walled gardens to anyone who can write code. This talk i
 s an accessible introduction into why\, and some interesting problems that
  have to be solved to enable software to connect the world.\n\nBio: The pr
 esenter is Director & CTO of Ensoft\, whose experience includes helping to
  bring into existence the Guinness Book of Records' "World's Highest Capac
 ity Internet Router".\n\nFood and drink will also be provided.\n
