the former anti-Gaddafi rebels.\n\nThe Cambridge University European Socie
ty\, Young European Movement Cambridge\, and Cambridge University French S
ociety cordially invite you to discuss all of this and more with two diplo
matic heavyweights: Richard Northern\, former British Ambassador to Libya
(2010-2011)\, and Emmanuel Rimbert\, French diplomat and author who former
ly served as press attaché and political advisor in Libya (2013-2014)\, w
ill be joining us for an afternoon of debate\, followed by a more informal
chat accompanied by nibbles and wine.\n\nThis promises to be an incredibl
e occasion to hear about the French and British diplomatic standpoints wit
h regard to Libya directly from two of the people who helped to shape such
standpoints!\n\nWe hope to see many of you there! If you could RSVP to ds
674@cam.ac.uk (or simply tick to attend this Facebook event) it would be g
reat. Please do not feel that such a response would constitute a commitmen
