DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce the 2014 Cambridge International D
 evelopment Conference\, in collaboration with Cambridge Hub. The theme of 
 the conference is ‘From Diversity to Sustainable Development’\, with k
 eynote speaker Ann Cotton of CamFed.  We’re looking forward to an exciti
 ng day of discussion\, exploring the diversity of people\, goals\, and app
 roaches in sustainable development.  The conference will feature two debat
 es set in the Cambridge Union’s stunning Debate Chamber.  In the morning
  we’ll be discussing approaches to sustainable development\, and debatin
 g the role of volunteering.  In the afternoon we’ll take a look at susta
 inable development in practice and the post-2015 sustainable development a
 genda.  Our speakers will feature in a panel discussion\, looking forward 
 from the Millennium Development Goals to the Sustainable Development Goals
 .\n\nWe’re excited to hear from Ann Cotton\, founder of CamFed\, as our 
 keynote speaker.  Ann was recently announced winner of the WISE Prize Laur
 eate\, a major international prize\, in recognition of her inspiring work 
 supporting community-owned\, integrated education programmes for girls and
  young women in rural Africa.  CamFed was founded by Ann in 1993\,  and ha
 ve gone on to do truly amazing work empowering young girls in rural Africa
  through education.\n\nWith the 2015 deadline fast approaching\, it’s th
 e perfect time to talk about the future of development\, and how we can pu
 t diversity on the agenda.  Tickets are now on sale and can be found via t
