DESCRIPTION:The Cambridge Public Policy Strategic Research Initiative will
  be hosting a lecture by Dr Ha-Joon Chang from Cambridge who in his widely
 -read books such as ’23 Things They Don’t Tell You About Capitalism’
  and most recently ‘Economics: the User’s Guide’ has been critical o
 f orthodox economics and economics teaching. Ha-Joon’s books have reache
 d a wide audience\, and along with other commentators and academic economi
 sts\, raise questions about whether economics is serving society well\, an
 d what might be changes required in the discipline and its contribution to
  public policy.\nFollowing on from Ha-Joon’s talk we will have an invite
 d panel from government\, academia and industry\, to discuss the issues ra
 ised.
