  Messaging - linking sensors and wireless devices to back-end systems. And
 y will describe features of his home automation system\, including power a
 nd water usage monitoring\, remote control of electrical appliances from h
 is mobile phone\, and electronic mouse traps! He will go on to describe th
 e technology he is working on currently\, called LAMA - Location-Aware Mes
 saging for Accessibility - providing infrastructure to help deaf and other
  people with disabilities\, to access information services via their mobil
 e phones\, based on their location.
