DESCRIPTION:This symposium brings together researchers working in the broa
 der field of financial accounting. The aim is to explore aspects of financ
 ial accounting from different perspectives and allow discussion and cross-
 pollination among researchers from the United States\, UK\, and Continenta
 l Europe. Speakers will present work in empirical accounting research at t
