DESCRIPTION:I will discuss the problem of acausal signal propagation in th
e class of nonlinear massive gravity models recently constructed by de Rha
m\, Gabadadze and Tolley. Though these models successfully maintain the c
orrect number of degrees of freedom\, and thus evade a generic pitfall of
nonlinear massive gravities\, I argue that acausality is an equally pressi
ng issue that needs to be resolved. A few extensions to the model trying
to circumvent this are presented\, but the successful construction of a ca
usal massive gravity theory is left as a challenge for the audience.
