DESCRIPTION:Owen Mountford\, a wetland plant ecologist at the NERC Centre 
 for Ecology & Hydrology and a naturalised Fenman\, will describe the proje
 ct\, which he jointly co-ordinates with Jonathan Graham\, to record the wi
 ld plants of the Fenland Basin. This huge area is perceived as monotonous 
 and has been largely under-recorded by botanists for a century. Our projec
 t seeks to redress that neglect\, and to explore how a history of drainage
 \, reclamation and agricultural intensification is reflected in its curren
 t flora.\n\n*Tea\, coffee\, and biscuits are provided from 7:00pm*
