DESCRIPTION:Let K be R\, C or a Z/pZ. Let G = SL_2(K). Not long ago\, I pr
oved the\nfollowing theorem: for every\nsubset A of G that is not containe
 d in a proper subgroup\, the set A\\cdot\nA\\cdot A is much larger than A.
A generalisation to groups of higher\nrank was desired by many\, but see
med hard to obtain.\n \nI shall now present a proof somewhat different fro
m the first one. The\nrole of both the linearity and the group structure o
 f G should now be\nclearer. A few ideas towards a generalisation will be d
iscussed\, with a\nfocus on the case of SL_3(Z/pZ).\n
