DESCRIPTION:The focus of my research is the development of creative writer
s' identities in the context of mentoring and HE teaching relationships.
Fieldwork is complete using the combined methodologies of narrative inquir
y and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Findings have been d
rafted in sections relating to the perception of self and relationships wi
th mentors and tutors as well as the writers' work and wider contexts. Thi
s seminar is about work in progress and will focus on the development of t
he argument for my thesis\, arising from the findings. This should provide
a platform for discussion of the implications of this research for our un
derstanding of the nature of creative writers' identities and the signific
ant qualities of such learning relationships.\nV\n
