DESCRIPTION:State-of-the-art mobile devices have a wide variety of process
 ing capabilities enabled not only by computational units such as multi-cor
 e CPUs\, low-power DSPs\, and GPUs\, but also by wireless connectivity. In
  this talk I will be presenting work in progress as to how we can take adv
 antage of this rich mobile platform in order to lower the energy consumpti
 on of multiple simultaneously running sensor-based applications with (soft
 ) real-time requirements such as keyword spotting\, gesture recognition\, 
 speaker identification\, etc.
