DESCRIPTION:The aim of the seminar is to present a framework that was defi
 ned in order to drive production companies towards implementing value-base
 d Asset Management (AM) contributing to operations excellence. Despite the
  increasing body of academic literature on AM process and systems\, value-
 based AM is still a concept much more quoted in theory than described in p
 ractical terms. A clear understanding within companies about the main elem
 ents that are needed to enable it is still required. The presented framewo
 rk is structured to face this issue in order to pragmatically support prod
 uction companies to implement value-based AM.
