DESCRIPTION:Kan's Ex-infinity functor provides us with a completely \ncomb
 inatorial fibrant replacement for the Quillen model structure on \nsimplic
 ial sets. I will present a new viewpoint on anodyne extensions\, \ni.e. th
 e trivial cofibrations of this model structure. This will allow \nus to de
 velop the theory of Ex-infinity\, and indeed prove the existence \nof the 
 model structure\, in a simple and elementary way.
