DESCRIPTION:There is accumulating observational evidence for the existence
  of ancient dynamos on asteroids and the Moon. The mechanisms which drove 
 these\ndynamos are currently poorly understood\, but may include precessio
 n and/or compositional convection. I will review the observations and sugg
 est some potential avenues for future theoretical investigations.\n
