DESCRIPTION:We discuss recent results obtained using a rigorous renormalis
 ation\ngroup method.  The results include proofs of existence of logarithm
 ic\nscaling factors in the critical behaviour of 4-dimensional\nmulti-comp
 onent spin models and weakly self-avoiding walk\,\nand were obtained in co
 llaborations with David Brydges\, Roland\nBauerschmidt\, and Alexandre Tom
 berg.
