DESCRIPTION:In this COCA dialogue\, we are honoured to have invited one of
  the world’s most eminent sinologists\, Prof. Dr. Michael Loewe\, who is
  about to turn 93 years old\, for a conversation regarding his work and li
 fe. A doyen of Chinese history amongst Western scholars\, his research and
  contribution to Han Dynasty scholarship continues to exert great influenc
 e on present generations of scholars. Among his numerous publications\, he
  was the co-editor of the seminal Cambridge History of Ancient China. We a
 lso have the pleasure of being joined by Prof. Roel Sterckx\, who is the H
 ead of Department of East Asian Studies\, to chair this session and modera
 te the discussion.\n\nJoin us in this rare opportunity as Dr. Loewe shares
