DESCRIPTION:Membrane proteins play key role in fundamental biological proc
 esses in all kingdoms of life. However their investigation is most challen
 ging due to their instability and difficulties to crystallise. I will show
  two examples of membrane proteins crystal structures of my published work
 \, which shed light\, how and why it is important to know their structure 
 in order to understand their function.
