 ill discuss a recent result showing that the spectrum of discrete one-dime
 nsional quasi-periodic Schroedinger operators is homogeneous in the regime
  of positive Lyapunov exponent. The homogeneity is in the sense of Carleso
 n\, as used in the study of the inverse spectral problem for reflectionles
 s potentials. The talk is based on joint work with David Damanik\, Michael
  Goldstein\, and Wilhelm Schlag.\n
