for research in prebiotic systems chemistry - Kepa Ruiz-Mirazo (Universit

DESCRIPTION:In this talk I will briefly introduce the concept of 'vectoria
l metabolism' and try to demonstrate its relevance not only in biology but
also in the earliest stages of prebiotic evolution. Several protocell mod
els\, _in vitro_ and _in silico_\, will be discussed to illustrate how che
mistry could be enhanced in the context of soft interfaces and lipid compa
 rtments.\n\nReferences:\n\nMurillo\, S.\, Beaufils\, D.\, González-Mañas
