DESCRIPTION:As athletes get better and better the gap at the finish line b
 etween 1rst and 2nd place shrinks.  Pushing the boundaries of athletic foo
 twear performance has lead to a number of recent product innovations power
 ed by new or repurposed materials.  The demands placed upon materials to e
 nable better\, faster\, lighter\, stronger footwear performance drive our 
 new product innovation.  This presentation will provide a high level look 
 at product innovation\, broader impacts those innovations may have\, a dee
 per look at some of the key functional materials currently employed in foo
 twear\, and where things may go in the future.
