DESCRIPTION:Aidan is responsible for the majority of rail transport in Sco
 tland and oversees the Scotrail and Caledonian Franchises\, as well as inf
 rastructure and investment (EGIP)\n\nMixed audience\, from many different 
 subject areas.\n\nPresentation followed by a Q&A session open to the floor
 \, a perfect chance to talk to Aidan about the Transport Scotland\, or eve
 n specifically graduate opportunities in TS/Government. (You can also ask 
 about his trains!)\n\nAbout the CURC:\n\nFounded in 1911 from the Cambridg
 e University branch of The Railway Club\, the CURC is the second oldest ra
 ilway enthusiast club in Britain! The CURC tries to arrange an event in Ca
 mbridge every week during Full Term.  On most Wednesdays or Fridays this i
 nvolves an invited speaker giving an illustrated talk on a specific subjec
 t\, and this is almost always a professional from the rail industry or pre
 servation.  We’ve had big names in the past\, including senior managers 
 from several Train Operating Companies. \n\nWe also visit railway sites te
 rmly including depots\, signalling centres and industrial railways for mem
 bers. Don't miss our visit to Bombardier Rail UK on Thursday 10th March! (
 More visits to come\, including Network Rail test train and Hitachi Newton
  Aycliffe)\n\nWe give you a chance to meet the top employers from across t
 he industry and have huge success in our members going onto top Graduate e
 mployment within the railway industry...whether HS2\, Balfour Beatty\, Cro
 sscountry\, Network Rail\, DfT etc...\n\nMembership for students costs £8
  per year or £20 for life membership.  You can pay an annual membership n
 ow and upgrade to life later – and life does mean life. We charge £2 at
  the door for non-members\, upon your fourth entry to a talk (first three
