DESCRIPTION:Any 3 manifold with torus boundary admits either\nno L-space D
 ehn filling\, a unique L-space filling\, or an interval of L-space filling
 s.\nIn the latter case\, which we call ``Floer simple\,'' we construct an 
 invariant \nwhich computes the interval of L-space filling slopes from the
  Turaev torsion\nand a given slope from the interval's interior.  This too
 l allows us to recharacterize\nthe set of L-space Seifert-fibered spaces\,
  and to prove\na conjecture of Boyer and Clay about L-spaces formed from\n
 gluing 3-manifolds along a torus.\nThis is joint work with Jake Rasmussen.
