DESCRIPTION:Peer-mentoring can provide valuable support for postdocs at cr
 itical points in their career and it offers a host of other benefits for b
 oth mentor and mentee. In a recent survey\, postdocs in the Plant Science 
 department have expressed an interest in a mentoring system for CRS. \n\nT
 o follow up on it\, we invited Dr Sharon Saunders from the Personal and Pr
 ofessional Development Program for an introductory session about mentoring
  and mentoring schemes. \nWe hope that many of you can join us to start di
 scussing what we can do and want to do in the department to establish a su
 ccessful and appropriate mentor and mentee scheme.\n \nAfter the session\,
  we will host a Beer Hour in the tea room to hopefully continue the discus
 sion (and to socialise).\n\nThe session is open to everybody interested (n
 ot just CRS).
