DESCRIPTION:With the advent of 13TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC i
t is\nnatural to trawl through this data searching for new resonances with
the\nhighest possible masses. Do we have any clues of what we might expec
t in\nthis new energy regime? An ATLAS paper released in the dying moments
of LHC\nRun-1 offers us a possible direction. This paper describes a sear
 ch for a\nheavy resonance (either a W’ or a Randall-Sundrum Graviton) de
caying into a\ndiboson pair\, leading to highly boosted hadronic jets. By
exploiting jet\nsubstructure techniques to pick the signal out of the domi
nant QCD\nbackgrounds the analysis can take advantage of the high branchin
g fraction\nenjoyed by the fully hadronic decay channel. In this seminar I
will describe\nthe jet-substructure techniques explored by the analysis\,
present the\nresults of the analysis of the 20fb^-1 of 8TeV ATLAS data an
d finally look\nto the prospects with the new collision data.\n\n
