DESCRIPTION:Although mechanical exfoliation is a straightforward way to is
olate graphene flake\, the sample obtained is usually small and unlikely t
o be employed for mass production. In addition\, the number of layers of g
raphene flakes is uncontrollable and searching for the monolayer or few la
yer graphene among numerous graphite fractions is time-consuming. Therefor
e\, chemical vapour deposition (CVD)-growth graphene attracts researchers
because of the capability of producing large area samples with good qualit
y as well as the short synthesis time. \nIn this talk the preliminary resu
lts of measurements characterising the electrical properties of CVD monola
yer and bilayer graphene as well as the magnetotransport measurement of bi
layer graphene is presented. The weak localization (WL) was observed both
on the AB-stacked and twisted-stacked bilayer samples in this study and th
e scattering lengths extracted from the fitting of WL curve are discussed.
The aim is to characterize the CVD graphene sample we obtained and optimi
ze the fabrication process for future graphene devices.
