DESCRIPTION:Rob Holden is Chairman of High Speed One and has held several 
 senior directorships in Crossrail and the industry.\n\nMixed audience\, fr
 om many different subject areas.\n\nPresentation followed by a Q&A session
  open to the floor.\n\nAbout the CURC:\n\nFounded in 1911 from the Cambrid
 ge University branch of The Railway Club\, the CURC is the second oldest r
 ailway enthusiast club in Britain! The CURC tries to arrange an event in C
 ambridge every week during Full Term.  On most Wednesdays or Fridays this 
 involves an invited speaker giving an illustrated talk on a specific subje
 ct\, and this is almost always a professional from the rail industry or pr
 eservation.  We’ve had big names in the past\, including senior managers
  from several Train Operating Companies. \n\nWe also visit railway sites t
 ermly including depots\, signalling centres and industrial railways for me
