DESCRIPTION:I will report on joint work with S. Szawiel from the paper \nw
 ith the same title.\nThe aim of this work is to provide (yet another) abst
 ract setup for\npolynomial and analytic functors and monads in some contex
 ts where they were\nalready considered. It will be shown that polynomial a
 nd analytic \nfunctors typically\narise as representations of Kleisli and 
 Eilenberg-Moore monoidal objects \nfor\na (symmetrization) monad on an obj
 ect of `signatures'. Passing to the\nmonoids we obtain polynomial and anal
 ytic monads. This can be even further\nextended to actions.
