DESCRIPTION:After the Planck 2015 results\, which remain consistent with s
ome of the simplest single-field models of inflation\, one may ask whether
there remains any motivation to consider inflationary models with multipl
e light fields. I discuss this question\, and present one way of answering
it by performing a Bayesian model comparison between the curvaton scenari
o (which has two fields and at least four free parameters) and simpler sin
gle-field scenarios. I also show an application to one of the cosmological
anomalies\, the dipolar power asymmetry observed in the CMB temperature.\
