DESCRIPTION:The accurate redefinition of the basic SI unit\, the Ampere\,
in terms of the fundamental elementary charge\, e\, is important and meani
ngful in the area of quantum metrology. Single-electron pumping can genera
te an electric current\, which provides a powerful tool in the research of
metrology.\n\nThis work presents a new idea for the realization of a fast
and accurate quantized charge pumping technology with graphene quantum an
tidots. It reviews literatures on single-electron pumping metrology backg
round\, quantum Hall antidots and graphene unique properties making it a p
romising material to realize antidots single-electron pumps\, specifically
in relation to future work in our group. In addition\, design\, fabricati
on and basic experiment methods are introduced. Finally\, some results on
current progress towards the goal of single-electron charge pumping with g
raphene quantum Hall antidots are also reported.
