  from the front\, and sculptors responded by representing the broken and f
 ragmented human figure\, or by compensating and celebrating the heroic for
 m\, by retreating into abstraction\, and by commemorating soldiers in memo
 rials. You will find out about German and English sculptors\, women and me
 n\, 'victors' and 'losers'.\n\nAdmission is by token\, 1 per person\, avai
