DESCRIPTION:When a politician or prominent public figure is assassinated\,
there are two possible explanations: lone assassin or conspiracy. Signs o
f mental instability on the part of the assassin obviously tip the scales
in favour of the former option. A subsequent assassination arouses\, by co
ntrast\, suspicions of a conspiracy\, particularly when the details surrou
nding the first assassination remain murky. The talk looks at historical e
xamples in which multiple assassinations have generated the spectre of con
 spiracy.
