DESCRIPTION:In this talk I will sketch the relation between unitary repres
 entations of the BMS3 group and three-dimensional\, asymptotically flat gr
 avity. More precisely\, after giving an exact definition of the BMS group 
 in 3D\, I will argue that its unitary representations are classified by or
 bits of CFT stress tensors under conformal transformations. This will turn
  out to produce a natural relation between representations of BMS3 and gra
 vity in 3D flat space. I will also show how one can compute characters of 
 the BMS3 group\, which coincide with one-loop partition functions of gravi
 ty around 3D thermal flat space.
