DESCRIPTION:Autism is a developmental disorder that affects social interac
 tion. It is also associated with skills in perception and attention for de
 tails\, technical problem solving and focussed concentration. This talk wi
 ll evaluate how far the strengths of cognition relate causally to the diff
 iculties experienced during social interactions at the level of psychologi
 cal and neural mechanism.
