DESCRIPTION:In this seminar I will present my on-going PhD project concern
 ing acquisition of Chinese sentence final particles by English-speaking L2
  learners. Cross-linguistic comparison between Chinese and English will be
  first outlined from a feature’s perspective. A refined methodology with
  respect to investigating the features attached to sentence final particle
 s will then be given in detail. Some overall theoretical implications and 
 contributions derived from the research design will be shown as well.\n
