DESCRIPTION:Elementary embeddings crop up from time to time in category th
 eory as nice homomorphisms\, but from a set theoretic perspective there's 
 a whole lot more to them than that.  I will show how an elementary embeddi
 ng of your universe (which will exist under suitable strong axioms) can be
  a powerful tool\, for example in obtaining colimit preservation theorems.
