SUMMARY:How mammals respond to changing environments\, from leopards to de
vils - Associate Professor Tracy Rogers\, Evolution &amp\; Ecology Researc
 h Centre\, University of NSW\, Australia

DESCRIPTION:Tracey's research aims to understand ecological patterns in ma
mmals\, specifically what the ecological and evolutionary consequences are
of being a certain size\, adopting a foraging or locomotory strategy. She
is interested in understanding the trade-offs between physiology\, life h
istory and environment balanced against phylogeny and past history. Her wo
rk spans a range of mammal species and biological techniques\, including a
nalysis of isotopes to discern environmental and dietary influences\, mari
ne mammal microbiomes and acoustic signalling.
