DESCRIPTION:In the past few years\, there has been a lot of research into 
 alternative ways for us to interact with our computers and other devices. 
 Many devices emerged such as the Microsoft Kinect\, detect the body’s ge
 sture using more advanced sensors. My talk will focus on the software appr
 oaches to tracing the hand and the difficulties that comes with it. In par
 ticular\, I will compare image segmentation techniques and object tracking
  algorithms and how these techniques can be applied to trace the location 
 of the hand.
