DESCRIPTION:Our exciting third talk of the term is from Dr Hugh Lewis\, a 
 leading aerospace engineer from the University of Southampton. \n\nDr. Lew
 is’ exciting multidisciplinary work involves astronautics\, artificial n
 eural networks and preventing the use of outer space in war. He is a leadi
 ng British scientist who works with the UN and the IADC to coordinate inte
 rnational space activities. He will discuss the emerging threat of space d
 ebris and near-Earth objects and explain how we must manage them as a conc
 erted international force. Last week’s nanotechnology talk was very cool
 \, but this might just top it. We hope you can join us. \n\nAs usual\, the
  talk will be followed by wine and cheese.\nThe talk is free to members\, 
 and £2 for non-members - there will be the opportunity to buy lifetime me
 mbership for £15 on the night.
