 At 80\,000 hours\, we specialise in working with driven individuals to des
 ign high impact career pathways. This careers workshop will introduce you 
 to the key concepts that underpin the 80\,000 hours careers framework and 
 equip you with the tools to make career decisions based on optimising your
  impact. Our workshop speaker is Rob Wiblin\, one of the founding team and
  the Director of Research at 80\,000 Hours. The workshop will end with sma
 ll group discussions tailored around exploring your personal career option
 s and where you should head next. \n\nAbout the speaker: Rob Wiblin is the
  Director of Research at 80\,000 hours. Rob studied both genetics and econ
 omics at the Australian National University\, graduating top of his class 
 and being named Young Alumnus of the Year in 2015. He ‘earned to give’
  as a research economist in various Australian Government agencies\, and t
 hen moved to the UK to work at the Centre for Effective Altruism\, first a
 s Research Director and then Executive Director. He is also Secretary of t
 he board of Animal Charity Evaluators and a member of the World Economic F
 orum’s Global Shapers Community.
