DESCRIPTION:The tomb of Djehutinakht (I?) was excavated at Dayr al-Barsha
in 2012. Although the tomb had evidently been robbed and the wood had suff
ered much\, painstaking efforts at reconstructing the remains make it poss
ible to reconstruct not only the funerary assemblage with which the deceas
ed was accompanied\, but also to reconstruct the ritual sequence of the bu
rial. Moreover\, it even seems possible to link the composition of the arc
haeological remains to specific ritual texts. Web site https://sites.googl
