DESCRIPTION:The Cambridge Cancer Centre has established an Early Detection
  programme as a key priority and it is with great pleasure that we announc
 e the launch of this programme.\nDr Harpal Kumar\, CEO of Cancer Research 
 UK\, will speak about the importance of early detection for Cancer Researc
 h UK and Professor Sir Peter Gregson (Vice Chancellor\, Cranfield Universi
 ty) will address the audience about the importance of cross-disciplinary r
 esearch\, as well as his own personal experience of an early cancer diagno
 sis. \nNewly funded early detection research projects will also be present
 ed.\nProfessor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz\, Vice Chancellor\, University of Ca
 mbridge\, will deliver the concluding remarks.\nThe event starts 3pm with 
 tea/coffee and a drinks reception will follow the talks\, around 6pm.\n\nF
