 \, they demand collaborations across different disciplines. The phenomenon
  of enquiry-based interdisciplinary learning often occurs in such cross-co
 llaborations.\n\nHis bun-talk is going to introduce an exploration about t
 he phenomenon of enquiry-based interdisciplinary learning in engineering p
 ractice. These findings seek to explain how practising engineers learn kno
 wledge related to the life sciences in collaborative projects. The explana
 tion of their learning practices has important implications for engineerin
 g education.
