DESCRIPTION:In Buddhism\, suffering is ended by realizing the\nnon-self na
ture. This realization is obstructed by the delusions that a self exists.
There are three such delusions in an unenlightened being: perception of a
self\, thought of a self and view of a self. The talk will centre on these
three delusions (known as Vipallasa in Pali) and recommend a way of pract
ice to shatter the illusive view of self (Ditthi Vipallasa) as the first p
ath of practice.\n\nThe talk is part of a special “Meditation Evening”
beginning at 17:00. The talk will be followed by a discussion and a guide
d meditation session. You are welcome to take part in the whole event or j
ust come for the talk. The full event programme is as follows:\n\n* 17:00
