SUMMARY:Left-Right Symmetry and Excesses at the LHC - Frank Deppisch (Univ
 ersity College London)

DESCRIPTION:Left-Right symmetric models constitute natural extensions of t
he Standard Model. Left-Right symmetry as a framework is flexible and allo
ws many realizations. I will discuss how different scenarios can be used t
o explain some of the excesses seen at the LHC\, namely in the eejj\, dibo
son (8 TeV) and diphoton channels. I will also outline the connection to n
eutrinos and the baryon asymmetry of the Universe.
