 icy analysis\, policy impact or theory and methods for public policy resea

 ny Blair Africa Governance Initiative (AGI) supports African governments b
 e more effective to improve the lives of the world's poorest people. Andy 
 advises heads of state across Africa on how to deliver their development a
 gendas. He helped set up President Kagame's Strategy and Policy Unit in Rw
 anda and to establish core executive functions in South Sudan. He has also
  written and spoken publically on smart aid and development\, including at
  the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University and the London Sc
 hool of Economics.\n \nAndy joined AGI from the UK government where he wor
 ked as a Senior Policy Adviser on Education in the Prime Minister's Strate
 gy Unit in London. Before that Andy worked for the University of Oxford on
  definitions and measures of poverty in the UK and in Africa (for more inf
