 ntary film 'Everyday Borders'.\n\n'Everyday Borders' was made by the Unive
 rsity of East London’s Centre for Research on Migration\, Refugees and B
 elonging\, in conjunction with Southall Black Sisters\, Migrant Rights Net
 work and the Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London.\n\nThe documen
 tary film examines the impact of the 2014 Immigration Act on British socie
 ty\, exploring the various ways in which the 'border' is increasingly ente
 ring into everyday life. \n\nThe screening will be followed by a panel dis
 cussion with Orson Nava (film director)\, Dr Georgie Wemyss (University of
  East London\, author of 'The Invisible Empire: White Discourse\, Toleranc
 e and Belonging'\, Ashgate\, 2009) and representatives from Southall Black
  Sisters and Migrants' Rights Network.
