DESCRIPTION:If you're anything like me\, you most likely hate listening to
  recordings of your own voice. Fear no more! Now you can do something abou
 t this! (Well\, you could since 1998\, but that's besides the point.) Yes\
 , pitch correction software (aka auto-tune) is here and may be present in 
 your life more than you think\, even if you think you don't listen to auto
 -tuned music! These tools are ubiquitous within the music industry nowaday
 s\, but to what extent? And how much can we really tell? Sometimes its use
  is extremely subtle. In this talk we shall explore these questions and mo
 re\, including how you can use it\, how and why the software works. If tim
 e allows we may also cover additional topics such as real-time pitch corre
 ction tools.\n\n
