DESCRIPTION:With the recent reveal of the Oculus Rift\, virtual reality ha
 s been a hot topic of conversation lately. Are head mounted displays the f
 uture of multimedia or they are not yet ready to take over the market? In 
 the talk I will talk about the hardware and technical solutions of these d
 isplays as well as discuss the potential problems that might derail the ri
 se of the technology. Last but not least we will examine the current marke
 t of these devices and decide when and who should invest into buying one.
